2nd Grade Parent Workshop-January 23, 2015 at 1:30-2:30 PM

Earth Science Lab
Mr. Gantt Room 46           

Here are a few things you can do for Earth Science Lab:
  • Start a Rock Collection and have students practice words to describe their rocks. ie: shiny, dull, rough, smooth, colors, size and weight (compared to another object), & draw and color their rocks. You can get a magnifying class
  • Please do not have students bring their rocks to Science Lab. Have the students take a picture of them with the rock(s) in their hand(s). 
  • Museums to visit:
